I’ve spent 30 years working in IT security, and one thing has stayed consistent: secure systems start with understanding how everything connects.

My career has taken me from managing network environments at Dow Jones and supporting security solutions at Network Associates/McAfee to spending more than 25 years with IBM CyberSecurity Services, helping organizations around the world design, implement, and manage secure networks.

I’ve worked across firewalls, VPN and remote access, LAN/WAN and wireless networks, vulnerability assessment, application security, and secure network design. More recently, I’ve led enterprise network micro-segmentation projects using Illumio Core and VMware NSX, helping organizations strengthen their security without losing sight of how their networks actually operate.What I’ve learned over the years is that cybersecurity isn’t simply about adding more tools. It’s about building the right architecture, understanding the risks, and making security practical, manageable, and resilient.

Today, I bring decades of hands-on experience to organizations that need a security partner who understands both the technology and the challenges that come with securing complex environments.
